Artist Spotlight: Jeb Burt

Artist Spotlight Jeb Burt When I look at Jeb Burt's art I immediately think, this is what Toulouse-Lectrec's artwork would look like if he created Film Noir illustrations. Some of the pieces do not have that chiaroscuro light contrast that film noir has, but it is not needed because the essence is there. What I love about his art is that it always looks like there is a mysterious story behind the drawing, it is not just a sketch. I am happy to share Jeb's art and this interview. Enjoy! by Jeb Burt 1. Artist Spotlight By_Sen_8 Today's spotlight is on the multipotentialite that goes by the name, "By_Sen_8." She's inspired by everything in life. Poetry: She writes and performs. I’m inspired by the artwork of Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh,especially their black & white drawings. Bill Delaney Artist Spotlight Bill Delaney Bill Delaney's illustration style ranges from minimalistic clean ink lines in his figure drawings, beautiful ink washes, lovely screen prints, soft sensual pencil sketches and charcoal drawings of people with gorgeous drapery. He is also a skilled woodworker, check out his videos! Most of his subjects are figure drawing models, but he expresses them as if he's captured a private and intimate moment. His work reminds me of a more refined Matisse, as if translated by Käthe Kollwitz. I am pleased to share Bill Delaney's art and his thoughts on making art. Enjoy!
